Born from a need
Based in New York City, Undercurrent was founded in 2025 by three moms who saw a need to move agency culture towards a more equitable and balanced way of working. Recognizing the lack of female ownership in the industry, they set out to build a company that would meet the needs of today’s top talent by reimagining the traditional agency model to deliver work that meaningfully moves brands forward.
The founders bring decades of global agency experience, having guided integrated communications for some of the world’s most recognizable brands in beauty, hospitality, technology, CPG, and financial services.
